| Customer Reviews: Impressed June 4, 2010 N. Perz (St. Louis) I've bought a good number of these types of books lately and most of them have been disappointing (for various reasons). I was rather impressed with this one, however; there was a good deal of both basic information and practical advice that can only come from experience. I really felt that he was giving honest advise rather than just pushing fluff to sell books. Definatly worth the $3.00 (for a used copy) for anyone considering taking the plunge.
Recommended.

It was an okay book, but you can find most of the information browsing google. Choose a different book.
Pretty good book, kind of odd ending October 7, 2008 Candice J. Reinke (Seattle, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am 20 years old and just passed my real estate license test. I purchased a lot of books to read up on the profession and this book was one of them. The author (IMO) had a lot of good information - he stresses selling smarter (mainly by selling more expensive homes) but at the end he talks about decreasing commission rates and why this is happening. The book was very motivating except at the end, when the commission rates come up for discussion, the way it is written kind of puts a damper on the excitement. Overall a pretty good book though. It is the first I read.
